My
second visit to Panchkhaal was memorable. It took about 3 hours to reach
Kalyana Chowk from Kathmandu. Staying and working managed to move around
Panchkhaal to relax toxic mind.
The Tamang caste of Panchkhaal was found to be very backward in education due to which they remained ignorant about their language, religion, culture and geography. As the times are changing contextually, the spirit of federalism has made good use of good roads and electricity. But within the Tamang caste, they have been deprived of education due to the lack of employment. Due to illiteracy, the Tamang community of that area gradually feels that they are under the grip of Hinduization. But from a geographical point of view, Panchkhal is the main foundation for agriculture.
Where there is a climate capable of growing all kinds of vegetables. In this way, since vegetables reach Kathmandu from there, the farmers of that area are dependent on agriculture. And the farmers say that the source of income for livelihood is good.
